While robotics is one of the most exciting clubs on campus, it is easily one of the most expensive. Each team must spend thousands of dollars just to build their robot, not including the money each team has to pay to be able to compete at different regionals.
- –To register and receive their kit of parts, each team must pay $6,000.
- –For each additional regional, the team must pay $4,000.
- – If the team qualifies for the National Championships, it is an additional $5,000.
We want to thank all of the families and community members that have donated and supported us in the past. Your help has been tremendous.
Over the years, support has come from many groups, and Team 100 has had to come up with many different ways of getting enough money to keep our robots running, from fundraisers to letters to families and friends. Recently, DreamWorks decided to sponsor us, giving our team the boost it needed to do our best in the last competition season. To the right is a list of all of the companies that sponsor us and whose support has been invaluable to the Team 100 Wildhats.
