Who are they? We have two community members who are engineers with different companies. Others are parents with a wide breadth of backgrounds, including some engineering, that work with the team even when, in some cases, their students graduated a few years ago. Very gratifying, we have five team alumni now in college.
What are our mentors? The glue that helps to bind the students and their ideas together into the implementation of a good looking, highly functioning robot. How is this done? Through our mentors who encourage, guide and provide a listening post for the students Our mentors 'try' to keep hands off as they work their magic.. Our mentors are present for every meeting and work session and are integral to what makes Team 100 – – Family.

Volunteers

The cog in the wheel around which the team is run. Have you seen a group of hungry teenagers? Oh, what a scary sight. Thanks to our many volunteers, always available, ready for immediate action our team is well–fueled. A well fueled team is a smooth running team. We're going where? And how are we getting there and where are we staying? Never fear, our Volunteers are busy finding the best flights, prices, lodging and making the arrangements so we are 'good to go'. Whoops, in the middle of building and we need some elusive part and supplies. What do we do? Call 'Volunteer–a–gogo' and the materials are ready for our use in no time. Our Volunteers are at the ready, with smiles, and the energy to keep up with any strange need and want, any time of day or evening. Our Volunteers are definitely special, appreciated, and an integral part of our "Team 100 Family".
